The system is controlled via touch screen control panel or computer using an intuitive control system software . The software is designed in accordance with the GMP standard; manual operation is limited to vessel filling and emptying.

Extraction is carried out in high-pressure extraction vessels (EV), equipped with an automatic temperature regulation system. The vessels have a threaded cap. They are made of stainless steel and certified in accordance with the PED directive. Industrial models can have 1 to 3 extraction vessels with a volume between 25 or 250 L.

Products are selectively collected in three high-pressure collection vessels. Industrial MoSES systems are equipped with four collection vessels with a volume of 5 or 10 liters. The vessels also have a threaded cap and a discharge valve. They are made of stainless steel and certified in accordance with the PED directive.
The high-pressure pump enables continuous extraction medium circulation and is used for achieving the pressure values needed for the gas to enter its supercritical state. MoSES systems are equipped with robust membrane pumps. Their flow capacities are adjusted depending on system size and the technological requirements.
All extraction processes are carried out under supercritical conditions. One of the conditions for reaching the supercritical state is establishing a suitable (supercritical) pressure. MoSES systems are equipped with built-in automatic back pressure regulators (ABPR), which are used to achieve the required system pressure and can regulate pressure values between 0 and 400 bar(g) with ± 1 % accuracy.
All extraction processes are carried out under supercritical conditions. One of the conditions for reaching the supercritical state is establishing a suitable (supercritical) temperature. MoSES systems are equipped with built-in automatically controlled heating elements, which enable extraction at temperatures up to 80 °C.
The extraction process is carried out in a closed system; the carbon dioxide is recycled throughout this entire process. The recycler is a collection vessel for liquid carbon dioxide, equipped with an automatic cooling system. Its nominal volume is 2 times the volume of the extraction vessels. It is made of stainless steel and certified in accordance with the PED directive.
