Compact brewhouse BH3 is a system that consists of two process tanks and a separate water tank. Hot water is stored and prepared in the water tank and then used in the beer brewing process. The tank is connected to the brewhouse control unit, so the temperature settings can be easily controlled using the main control panel. 

The BH3 is used for infusion mashing. The heating process is gradual. You can choose up to five steps of mashing, as many as needed until the mash reaches the desired temperature (step mashing). Gradual heating and temporary rest at certain temperatures are the main advantages of step mashing, as they create the perfect conditions to activate specific enzymes that break down substances in the malt. This lays the groundwork for the activation of yeasts and a successful fermentation process.

Technical features:

  • quality material: our tanks, platforms, and piping are made of stainless steel EN1.4301 (or: stainless steel with TiN coating); we only use certified materials;
  • hygiene: all inner product contact surfaces are polished; the smooth surfaces enable a quick and efficient cleaning process; integrated CIP cleaning equipment in both tanks;
  • temperature regulation: all tanks are equipped with heating surfaces; the heating medium is steam, supplied from an external steam generator;
  • central control unit: processes are controlled using the main control panel; a big touch screen with a multilingual user interface enables good monitoring and control through every step of the process;
  • manifold with butterfly process valves: butterfly valves are arranged neatly on the front side of the brewhouse and regulate the wort and water flow; each valve function is marked with an engraved sign.
