The Federal College of Viticulture and Pomology HBLAuBA Klosterneuburg is the oldest educational institution for viticulture in the world and the biggest viticulture and pomology research institute in Austria.

The college provides a comprehensive general and vocational education in the fields of viticulture and winemaking.

Their group of dedicated researchers is constantly facing practical and future-oriented challenges concerning the fields of viticulture, winemaking, enology, pomology, chemistry, biology, process technology, economy, and ecology.

 

Project description

Škrlj d.o.o. has helped equip the HBLA Klosterneuburg college with multiple types of wine tanks and fermenters.

Their tanks are now primarily used for research and educational purposes in the field of enology, as this tank equipment enables good control and supervision during every phase of the vinification process (maceration, fermentation, cleaning, and wine maturation in a controlled environment).

The total volume of the SK Škrlj tanks now installed at the HBLA Klosterneuburg college is approximately 106 000 liters.
