In modern winemaking, quality is created through attention to detail. Grape pressing is one of the defining stages of premium wine production—a process where advanced technology meets the winemaker’s knowledge and experience. That's why we see developing and improving our pneumatic grape presses as a continuous process.
Over the past months, we have implemented a series of significant improvements with one clear goal: to provide technology that delivers outstanding results in every harvest.
Central drainage system
More juice, less sediment
Central drainage pressing is the most efficient grape pressing method currently available on the market. It is ideal for hard-to-press grape varieties. The innovative double-membrane design with vertical cylindrical drain channels reduces the distance between the membrane and the drainage surface by 50%. This means faster juice drainage and higher yield.

Minimal oxidation, maximum flavor
The press drum is hermetically sealed. Juice flows through a set of perforated cylindrical drains into an electropolished collection pipe and then towards the juice collection pan. Oxygen exposure is minimal, helping preserve the freshness and aroma of the juice.

Effortless maintenance and cleaning - fast, efficient, and hassle-free
The electropolished cylindrical drain channels are designed for quick removal, allowing fast and simple cleaning. They are weld-free and contain no internal reinforcements, which significantly reduces the possibility of residue accumulation. The cleaning procedure is simple: unscrew the drain cylinder cap, remove the cylinder, clean it, then reinstall it and secure the cap. The process is completed in just a few steps.

Panel drainage system
Our closed drum presses now feature large electropolished drainage panels.
50% larger drainage surface and 100% more drainage perforations compared to regular closed drum drain channels

Easy cleaning after every use
The corrugated drainage panel is secured to the drum with external latches that can be easily locked and released. Once unlatched, the panel can be lifted using a handle and positioned for washing. This unique hinged design enables quick and efficient press cleaning after every use, without entering the drum or removing the drain channels.

Eccentric axial feed
A specially engineered central inlet that enables eccentric drum filling. The grape mass is redirected straight to the drainage panels, reducing pomace compaction and enabling more efficient juice separation.
Higher free-run juice yield. Tests with various grape varieties have shown that eccentric drum filling increases the amount of free-run juice by at least 25% compared to regular central inlets. Free-run juice that flows naturally from the grape mass without mechanical pressing, is generally of higher quality and contains fewer tannins.
Increased filling capacity. Improved free-run drainage also enhances press filling capacity and shortens pressing time.

... and some other significant improvements
Updated door design
The new double-leaf sliding door design offers several practical advantages:
- simple installation and removal of both the guides and the door,
- easier and faster cleaning: each door leaf can be lifted individually, allowing easier cleaning of the underside.

Improved juice collection pan with sieve
The sloped juice collection pan with integrated drain channel and sieve ensures complete juice outflow. The sieve can be easily removed and rinsed after each use.
Improved hermetic door design
A new sealing solution that features an inflatable, easily removable gasket. The gasket is designed for tool-free removal. It allows thorough cleaning of the contact surfaces after each pressing and quick replacement in case of wear.
Program updates
Our pneumatic presses with touch screen control panels are equipped with automation technology and equipment made by B&R Industrial Automation GmbH, chosen for their high quality, reliability, and flexibility. B&R controllers also enable further system expansions and ensure better connectivity with other systems (PC, smartphone).
An important advantage of our presses is that the software is developed entirely in-house. This allows us to introduce program improvements more quickly, adapt functionality to customer requirements, and provide additional language versions of the user interface. As a result, we can offer greater flexibility and respond more rapidly to the evolving needs of modern winemaking.
