Pneumatic presses

Tradition and reliability

Since 1988, Škrlj pneumatic presses have been the winemaker's choice for effortless, high-quality grape pressing. Built on decades of proven reliability, each model is refined with cutting-edge design updates and the latest oenological innovations. Our mission remains steadfast: to equip winemakers with presses that simplify their work, enable high-quality grape processing, and ensure long-term reliability.

PSP drum

Open pressing system (PSP)
Pneumatic presses with a perforated drum represent a classic, proven grape pressing method. This system enables fast juice drainage, excellent pressing process control, and easy cleaning and maintenance.

PST drum

Closed pressing system - standard (PST)
Standard pneumatic presses with a closed drum, available with drain channels or corrugated drainage panels. All drainage components are electropolished, ensuring exceptionally smooth surfaces that prevent deposits, reduce cleaning time, and further simplify drum hygiene maintenance.

PSC drum

Closed pressing system - central drainage (PSC)
Central drainage pressing is the most efficient grape pressing method currently available on the market. It delivers highly effective must drainage with minimal residue buildup. The hermetically sealed drum and central drainage pipe ensure minimal oxygen exposure. As a result, the must retains its freshness, rich aroma, and full flavor. This technology is ideal for hard-to-press grape varieties.

PSH drum

Closed pressing system - inert (PSH)
PSH pneumatic presses combine all the advantages of standard PST presses while also enabling grape pressing under controlled oxygen conditions. In this hyperreductive mode, pressing takes place in an inert environment, which provides a high level of protection against oxygen exposure. The wines produced are more aromatic, fruity, and fresh.
